CASA GC2

An apartment of about 50 sqm in a residential building in Bari, reorganised to fit living area, kitchen and bedroom into a fluid sequence of compact yet perceptually generous spaces.

The project works through colour contrast: a dark, almost sculptural volume encloses the kitchen and dining area, while the rest of the home opens up in light tones, oak and custom panelling that conceals the TV, bookcase and the passage to the walk-in wardrobe. In the bedroom, a panoramic chinoiserie wallpaper adds a narrative note, while the travertine-clad bathroom closes the sequence in a more mineral, essential register.
