Studio
BAYRIA is the ancient name, of Illyrian origin, of the settlement on which Bari stands: it is thought to mean “building of houses”. The same root gave rise, in the Indo-European languages, to the English verb to build. The studio’s name thus recalls the original gesture of building a place to live.
STUDIO BAYRIA is an architecture and interior design studio founded in 2018 that pays great attention to the quality of living.
Our goal is to create unique environments, reflecting the needs of the client and the surrounding architectural context. In developing our projects we pay attention to all the physical characteristics of the site: the landscape, the materials that characterise the territory, the light and the atmosphere.
STUDIO BAYRIA does not have its own “style”: each project is unique. We transform domestic and commercial spaces by combining the traditional techniques of Italian design in a contemporary key, and we develop every detail so that it is tailor-made for each client.
Based in Bari, our work extends on a national and international scale.
